After our boy Flynn suffered a spinal stroke in 2024, FCEtalk emerged from a deep compassion for pets and their families affected by Fibrocartilaginous Embolism (FCE), also known as a spinal stroke. Experiencing the confusion and struggle of pet owners facing this diagnosis, we felt compelled to create a resource that provides clarity and support.
The initial days of FCEtalk were fueled by personal experience and a commitment to educate others. We started with a small community of pet owners, sharing insights and resources, which gradually expanded into the comprehensive platform we have today.

While our site concentrates more on FCE in dogs, it is important to note that FCE can also affect our beloved felines.
